I hate to say it but I wish I would have only still seen the 10 second teaser trailer.  If you are going to bring back an iconic idea/movie like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off in any form, you need to nail it.

To celebrate the launch of the all-new 2012 CR-V, Honda brought Ferris Bueller’s Day Off back in a big game commercial. We cast Matthew Broderick as himself, skipping out on a day of acting work and living it up in his all-new CR-V. Relive movie history with Honda’s fresh twist and wonderful homage to this ’80s classic.

  • I agree. Kinda cheesy and he looks old…

Loved it. Just what I would expect from an older Ferris. Well done and made me laugh. I am a truck guy though.

  • awesome awesome !!!!

I almost loved it. Matthew Broderick is great at any age, but to be honest, he needs to lose about 10 pounds – his face was just kinda puffy and I couldn’t quite get past that. Also, he needed a friend or girl in the commercial. They should have gotten Mia Sara and Jennifer Grey for cameos. I give it a 75.

Funny commercial…. Definitely brings back good 80s memories…

    Save Ferris !!!
