Last week we posted about how Birdman, aka Baby, went public with his insane $5 million dollar wager that the Patriots will win the Superbowl. We thought this bet was pretty outrageous and wouldn’t have any real takers, but we were wrong.
Rapper 50 Cent was quick to respond on twitter saying he would take the Giants for $1 million. Then, the gambling website BetOnline.com took the Cash Money CEO up on the full $5 million. Dave Mason of BetOnline.com stated that, “If Birdman is prepared to put his money where his mouth is, we are prepared to accept his $5 million wager on either the point spread or the money line of Super Bowl XLVI.”
“Birdman simply needs to go to a new casino and register. Then, he can email me directly and I will provide him wire instructions in order to get his $5 million in post-up funds sent in a timely manner so we can proceed with the bet. Once Birdman’s bet is in, we will release a snapshot of the bet in his BetOnline.com account, and Birdman will finally have proof that he is the sports bettor who he boasts of being,” said Manson.
Birdman has placed some ridiculous bets in the past on sports teams and we don’t doubt that this will be any different, but we will see if he takes the offer from BetOnline.
These guys should play Madden 12 against each other on virgingaming.com. That would be a nice little side bet and something to boast about before the big game!
