Never Just Assume That The Mascot Is a Guy Under There
Darwin Cook’s 99-yard fumble return for a touchdown during West Virginia’s domination of Clemson during the Orange Bowl was pretty great, but not for the reason you may think. Following returning the fumble for a TD Cook sought out Obie, the Orange Bowl mascot, and tackled “him” in the back of the end zone. During a post game interview Darwin got some very surprising news which led to a priceless reaction. The news was that the mascot was a young girl, whoops.
