The Kontinental Hockey League is one of the most hardcore hockey leagues in the world, and on Sunday they again proved why.  During a game in the KHL rivals Traktor Chelyabink and Vityaz Chekhov not surprisingly got into numerous fights, and one of the larger scrums featured the two goalies facing off.

Both team’s goalkeepers, Traktor’s Michael Garnett and Vityaz’s Matt Dalton fought it out in one of the best fights I have been witness to in a hockey match.  The refs seemed like they shared the same view and decided to let it continue even after the two goalies ended up on the ice.

Traktor went on to win the black and blue affair by a score of 5-1.

  • Vityaz are nothing but bullies. They fight 5 out of 10 games and I was happy when they got served by Dinamo Riga 7:1 🙂

hockey is so lame. its not only the most boring sport on the planet, but the fights are pathetic.

This just goes to show that the world is ending. I thought that it was just here in America. Seems to me that #21 (for the RED team) is an instigator and a jerk.
