Thanksgiving is a day to look and back give thanks for what you have, as well as drink too much, eat too much, watch football and not have to buy gifts for people. It’s pretty awesome. Today I wanted to write about what I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for Cosby Sweaters. Without it I wouldn’t have ever started the Big Skeezy Challenge and changed my life forever.
I’m thankful for The Diplomat, Esco, Iceman, The Doctor, The Simpleton, Scotty Thurman, Katey Berman and the rest of the CS staff. Best. Job. Ever.
I’m thankful for my family and friends. You inspire me to do great things and help make me who I am.
I’m thankful for my job. Having spent a year unemployed I know how awful it is to not be working (from a non-millionaire standpoint).
I’m thankful for my nieces, both related and not. It’s exciting watching them grow up, though a part of me wishes they wouldn’t.
I’m thankful for all of you who read this site every day. You guys are a hell of a lot of fun.
I’m thankful for poetry, a good scotch, and my friend Baxter here.
I’m thankful for being able to do everything I want to do, physically. Another gift.
I’m thankful for our country, living in it, and those who keep it free.
Most of all, I’m thankful that I woke up today. Every day is a blessing. Make the most of it.
