Hearing Kevin Durant dropped 66 points just a few days may have led to a little extra added motivation for former USC alum Nick Young.  The Washington Wizards rising star took over a Drew League game in Los Angeles on Sunday and threw up a cool 60 points.  The Wiz kids have a solid stable of young talent, so young in fact that they may be secretly wishing for a lockout to age these boys.

  • WOW. First, that makes me miss playing ball. Not that I ever came close to dropping 60 in a game, but just watching a small, packed gym and two teams going at it will get anyone excited to go and compete.

Second, this dude is legit. That’s all I can say. He can drive. He can shoot. He can draw a foul (obviously, because a few of those were great acting! But that’s smart basketball). He hits his free throws. I honestly didn’t know much about him before this video and Googling him…he’s been in the league 4 years?! I don’t follow the league near as close as I used to but WOW, how did I miss that?!

Anyways, pumped to have you all on Livefyre. Let me know if you ever need anything, I’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.
