New Jersey Nets Fined for Jay-Z’s Visit With Kentucky Wildcats

The picture of Shawn Carter and the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team quickly made its way around the interwebs. The Wildcats had just beaten the North Carolina Tarheels in Jersey for a ticket to the Final Four. Hov was in attendance and visited the locker room to congratulate them on their victory.

Mr. Carter, who is part owner of the Nets, broke NBA rules with the visit as team personnel is prohibited from visiting with players that are not yet eligible for the draft. The Nets were fined $50,000 for the breach. I would imagine that Jigga grabbed the 50K out of his tube sock and gave it David Stern over dinner at Mr. Chow.
