David Ferrer showed the world he isn’t exactly the most kind hearted person in the world during the Sony Ericsson Open quarterfinals. Ferrer was down late in his second set to Mardy Fish and becoming increasingly annoyed at a crying infant in the stands, Ferrer responded with the same reaction a second grader would have. He lofted a forehand at the baby in the stands.
The ball did not come that close to the baby, which was probably a testament to why Ferrer was losing. Following the match Ferrer was quoted saying that the baby was not the problem and “indigestion” was.
