Do you remember earlier this year when one of the hosts of “Pardon The Interruption” (show on ESPN) was suspended due to comments he made about Hannah Storm’s attire?
Here is a refresher (and a pic so you can see what he was referring to);
“Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today. She’s got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt … way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now.” [She’s 47.] “She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body … I know she’s very good, and I’m not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won’t … but Hannah Storm … come on now! Stop! What are you doing? … She’s what I would call a Holden Caulfield fantasy at this point.”

Lets all be honest here; Tony is COMPLETELY ACCURATE in his comments regarding the wardrobe choice. However, we would like to let Tony know that while you may not enjoy the outfit, we actually LOVE it. We love what Hannah brings to the table with her SportsCenter skills, we love her quick wit, and if she wants to talk sports to me for a hour straight while wearing a catholic school plaid skirt, I am fine with that. Tony, you nearly ruined that for me.
Following Tony’s comments he was suspended by ESPN for a “few days.” Cosby Sweaters immediately feared the worst case scenario; would Hannah stop dressing like this?
We received the confirmation we were looking for last night during the Celts/Heat shoot around.
All is right again with the world. Tony, you were right to call Hannah out for her interesting choice of threads, but please don’t ruin it for us all by doing that again.
