All the fathers and little league coaches in attendance at the Giants-Pirates game on Wednesday were given an excellent free teaching opportunity on how not to act like a functional baseball player.

In the 6th inning, Giants reliever Jean Machi issued a walk to the Pirates Chris Stewart, which would have loaded the bases, as Travis Snider and Gaby Sanchez were on second and third base, respectively. Instead of facing a one out bases loaded situation in a one run game, Machi was able to trot off the mound without throwing another pitch.

Watch the video below and please enjoy the baffling reaction of Pittsburgh third base coach Nick Leyva, who stands motionless in disbelief at some of the oddest baserunning you’ll ever see. By the way, the Pirates lost the game by two runs, two runs that were in scoring position with one out in the 6th inning.
